What is Scriptworks?

Scriptworks provides advice, feedback, and input on and around serial storytelling. Serialization offers intriguing opportunities for almost all forms of communication not just to make content more fun and engaging, but also to build a returning audience or user base.

How are you going to do this?

Writing should not be done without regular input from others, writing captivating series even less so. Simply put, I take everything I learned in journalism, commissioning, screenwriting and format development and bring it to you, your creative team, or communication experts. I will analyze your existing output, storylines or ideas and develop formatting ideas for and with you. I can refine your story arch or help you setting up a writer’s room. This can be in the form of one-time feedback or a long term process in which I accompany you. It all depends on your specific needs and wishes.

Is this for fiction writers only?

Not at all. Rather, the idea is to make use of the best techniques and elements from fiction writing into any type of communication. I am convinced that, for example, scientific research Institutions could reach a much wider audience if they would start to serialize rather than sending out one-off communiquées every week. There are many possibilities to enhance and expand your ideas and messages – let’s start by getting in touch and together we will figure out what’s best.
